Jan Koniarek Gallery in Trnava presents the first individual exhibition of the Trnava native artist Andrej Haršány (1984) within the dramaturgy of young authors’ presentations in the cIUb 3.
The DATA BODY exhibition is the beginning of searching of own artistic expression. Looking for connections and their application in the gallery space. Installation of bodies of various materials, poses and forms. A virtual project as a picture of the era of how we view human body that has lost its transcendentalism and has become only a data file. Or as a body lost in a mass of other bodies made by internal structures representing mass environment reflected in ourselves.
An interest in body issues is permanently present in Andrej Haršány works. Body and its social, power and political links. As a result of rapid development of mass-communication media, media and information technologies nowadays there are more artful methods of disinformation and manipulation of an individual in favour of conformism.
