Academic painter Jozef Bubák studied at the Folk School of Arts in Komárno (1963 – 1968), led by academic painter František Chrástek. He continued in the studies at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava (1969 – 1975, Department of General Paintings – prof. D. Milly, Department of free painting and tapestry – prof. P. Matejka, Department of monumental painting – doc. F. Gajdoš). He is an author of 22 monumental works and author of proposal of Slovak banknotes. He also devoted to painting of portraits, screenwriting, choreography and directing of modern ballet dance. His works were presented e.g. in the Pálffy Palace in Vienna and Pálffy Palace in Bratislava.
