Kudláč František

*22 July 1909, Horné Heršpce (Czech Republic) – †1 December 1990, Bratislava

Studied at the School of Applied Arts in Prague. He received the certification of professor of drawing at the Charles University in Prague. He was a member of KVU Aleš in Brno, the Association of Slovak Artists and the Group of Artists of 29th August. He worked as a stage manager of the Slovak Chamber Theatre in Martin, then as a director on the New Scene in Bratislava. Later he devoted to film production. Space-time anonymity of Kudláč visual scenes, dramatised by reflector image lighting, linked his painting with contemporary efforts of Hložník branch of generation of the Second World War. He unproved to bring indicated to logical, clear-up artistic form. He refused to preserve the correlation with careful allegoric ambition of his own generation. Individually exhibited in Kyjov, Bratislava, Budapest.
