In 1921 he begun to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and in the years 1922 – 1923 continued at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin (prof. E. Wolfsfeld). Actively exhibited, his first exhibition took place in 1928 in Paris Myrbor gallery which was one of the most famous avant-garde galleries of that time. He was a member of Salon of independent in Paris, New Association of Artists in Budapest, Bratislava Art Association (Kunstverein), Estate Association of Artists in Innsbruck, Art-Club, International art club and association Circle in Vienna. His Paris creation was influenced by mixing of classical Modernist dogma styles – expressionism in fauvel edition, later cubism and constructivism with content overlaps into new materiality. In Slovakia Pálffy painted moderate themes – landscapes, figural scenes, portraits, still lives.
