In 2018, we commemorate an important 25th anniversary of bilateral relationships. For a couple of years, an expert work group focused on finding intersections in the areas of culture, historic and natural heritage has been operating based on the partnership among the Province of Lower Austria, Trnava Self-governing Region and Bratislava Self-governing Region, which results from a joint Memorandum (also signed by the capital city of Slovakia - Bratislava). Outputs of this work group include the exhibition of the young Slovak contemporary art in Ausstellungsbrücke Gallery in St. Pölten (Austria), which will be ceremonially opened on September 5, 2018. Trnava Self-governing Region will introduce a selection of artists from this Region (the curator is Roman Popelár, Ján Koniarek Gallery in Trnava). Bratislava Self-governing Region prepared a selection of the works of artists who graduated from the then regional Jozef Vydra School of Applied Arts in Bratislava, under a curatorial concept of Tereza Langerová. The exhibition will last until October 7, 2018.

Independently of each other, the curators chose the paintings of young, establishing artists who come from or have been long operating in the Bratislava or Trnava Region. Six of them have graduated from the Fourth Studio of Professor Ivan Csudai at the Bratislava Academy of Fine Arts and Design. Despite of that, each of them found their own painterly expressions as well as topics. Most of them are societal, social, but also intimate - purely personal. As a whole, they are a unique and contemplative sample of the youngest generation of artists.

From Bratislava Self-governing Region: M. Černušák, J. Hrčka, A. Kopecká, R. Koszorús
From Trnava Self-governing Region: R. Janák, M. Kochan, G. Szücs, D. Žáková
