Dr Beskid was born in 1962. He studied the science of fine arts at the Comenius University Faculty of Arts in Bratislava, where in 1988 he defended his dissertation. He lives and works in Trnava and Bratislava.

Created the script for and implemented four permanent expositions with the collections of these institutions: Treasure of Slovakia [Klenoty domova] - The Classic Slovak Art of the 20th Century (Ján Koniarek Gallery [GJK], Trnava 2007); Ján Koniarek - Founder of Modern Slovak Sculpture (GJK 2007); Portrait Gallery - a Survey of the Portrait Genre from the 18th to the 21st Century (GJK Trnava 2010, re-installation 2019); Pre-Opening, Museum of Young Art AMoYA, Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace, Prague (2011).
